FixMyIOT works best on modern browsers: Google Chrome (version 90+), Mozilla Firefox (version 88+), Safari (version 14+), and Microsoft Edge (version 90+). For the best video call experience, we recommend Chrome or Firefox. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Connection Requirements
For optimal video sessions, ensure you have: minimum 5 Mbps download/upload speed (10+ Mbps recommended), stable internet connection (wired preferred over WiFi), camera and microphone permissions enabled, and pop-up blockers disabled for fixmyiot.com domain.
Audio/Video Troubleshooting
If experiencing audio/video issues: check browser permissions for camera and microphone, ensure no other apps are using your camera, restart your browser and try again, test with a different browser, and check your system's audio/video settings. Most issues are resolved by refreshing the page.
Screen Sharing Problems
Screen sharing requires additional browser permissions. When prompted, select the window or screen you want to share. If screen sharing doesn't work: verify you clicked 'Allow' on the permission prompt, check that no other apps are blocking screen capture, and try selecting a different window or screen.
